Got this little thing for $2 at a thrift store. It's an 3.5mm audio extension cord of sorts, as well as a noise reducer. Really great because I can plug it in the back of my computer and then plug my headphones in it and not have to listen to all the static that comes out of the front ports.
Another great benefit is that since my audio chip is weird, I have to keep something plugged in all the time or it doesn't show up in the audio devices, which causes problems with a lot of games and applications when I plug in my headphones during the game. I have to restart Minecraft when I do that. So this little thing fixes that problem because it's plugged in all the time.
Anyway just thought I'd write a random blog post about this cool little thing to make things look alive on here.
