Today, in order to try and optimize ECC, I’m going to start using Yahoo Smush. It to compress the images and remove some kilobytes. This should help with the loading of the site without compromising image quality. It won’t be a huge improvement I’m sure, but it should help a little.
I’m also going to see what I can remove to lower the amount of SQL queries during page load, that will help as well.
GZip Compression is already enabled, an set at the max level, so nothing to do there.
It’s going to be a busy day.
