Ah..The joys of CSS

I’m quite happy right now. I just figured out how to make a “dynamic” logo by taking the forum name variable, popping it in some div tags, and styling it with CSS. So far it’s looking awesome. I’ve also managed to upload and use a custom font on it, in this case HandelGothic. After that I learned how to apply a shadow, and I’m currently tweaking it to taste.

Really excited, because this saves me some work in GIMP or InkScape and it doesn’t add extra kilobytes to the page. I also don’t have to pay a logo designer.

Simple yet elegant. I like.
